The Alberta government is investing in seven affordable housing and seniors housing projects across the province to give more Albertans a safe, accessible and affordable place to call home.
As part of the Provincial Affordable Housing Strategy, a significant government investment will allow housing providers to explore options for building and renewing seniors housing and affordable homes in Alberta.
Housing projects approved for planning
“Everyone should have a safe and affordable home. Our government is making life better for Albertans by investing in projects that will create more housing and improve existing homes for those who need it the most.”
Lori Sigurdson, Minister of Seniors and Housing
“Trinity Place Foundation is pleased to be working with the Government of Alberta to advance the redevelopment of Parkview Village. This facility was not designed with accessibility in mind and does not meet the needs of seniors today. The redeveloped 3.6-acre site offers a number of possibilities that we can now explore with residents and the community.”
Lawrence Braul, CEO, Trinity Place Foundation of Alberta
