Foster Parent Information Night in Iqaluit

The Department of Family Services is holding a foster parent information session in Iqaluit for individuals or families interested in becoming foster parents. The event will be held at the Aqsarniit Hotel and Conference Centre from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 16, 2023.

The event will facilitate meaningful dialogue between Family Services staff and prospective foster parents concerning respective roles and responsibilities, standards of care, and resources that can be accessed to support healthy placements.

Join us and learn more about becoming a foster parent. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
