Minister says she regrets not visiting the remote community yet, but is committed to do so
KASHECHEWAN – A First Nation is calling for the resignation of a federal minister, who they say isn’t showing up for the community that’s been evacuated for months and suffered the loss of six people.
In response, Minister of Indigenous Services Mandy Gull-Masty said in a statement that she is still committed to working with Kashechewan First Nation.
