A free workshop series is being offered this spring for urban Indigenous people considering a run in the October 2026 municipal election, with sessions running April through June.
The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) is hosting a series of free information sessions aimed at supporting urban Indigenous people who are thinking about running for municipal council in the 2026 election.
The workshops are designed to provide practical guidance on how to become a candidate, build a campaign, and navigate municipal politics with confidence.
