Building on past AFOA BC HR conferences, we are pleased to present the 2014 First Nations HR program. More than ever in HR planning, there needs to be the development of a clear and practical strategy. The goal is for communities and their organizations to have the right people, at the right time, in the right jobs, all working together to achieve a united vison, mission and goals.

This two day conference will focus on challenges such as; increased staff turnover solutions, wage scales and evaluation methods and you will gain a better understanding of human resource essentials for your administration. This will help to ensure that workplace behavior meets the expectations of the organization and legal requirements.

As noted from past AFOA BC conferences, a key benefit of these gatherings is the networking, meeting new friends and sharing our experiences. We will also hold our annual general meeting and this is an opportunity to hear from our board of directors on our progress. We hope to see you in September!
