A day after emerging from a meeting of the Council of the Federation with a “call for unity across their borders in advance of the start of renegotiations of the continental free trade pact later this year,” as iPolitics reported yesterday, provincial and territorial premiers are set for their high-level huddle with Prime Minister Mark Carney.
As per his itinerary, Carney will officially kick off the one-day meeting with a few on-camera opening remarks before the proceedings move behind closed doors. (9 a.m.)
