This week we’re celebrating Nunavut Education Week, which is a great opportunity to recognize the vital role education plays in the lives of Nunavummiut and highlight the educators leading the way in student growth and development. With a nation-wide teacher shortage, we thank you for choosing to teach in Nunavut.

Among this year’s events, schools are holding open houses, curriculum-based activities with students’ families, and providing special treats for school staff to thank them for their continued dedication to our students.

Join the Department of Education in celebrating the contribution that all staff and volunteers make in their schools and highlighting the partnership between teachers, families and students!
