June 20, 2025

Our Digital Navigator Speaker Series (DNSS) is an opportunity for our students, alums, and others interested in tech careers to hear from professionals leading and innovating at technology and technology-enabled companies. We are excited to welcome Carl Archie, Founder of Slow Analytics:

Carl Archie is an accomplished Indigenous strategist with a truly global perspective, grounded in his knowledge and experience as a Secwépemc person from Tsq’escen’ First Nation. He provides high-impact business development services to First Nations, assisting in identifying strategic priorities, decision-making, financing, and new venture creations and acquisitions. Recently, Carl advanced the interests of the Secwépemc Nation in the Columbia River Treaty, achieving a precedent-setting seat as observers at international negotiations. With extensive experience in First Nations’ finance, venture capital, business development, commercial land development, and strategic planning, he has managed multi-million dollar business portfolios with a track record of delivering results. Having worked from coast to coast, Carl’s unique perspective on First Nations’ community development is distinguished by his fluency in the language and culture. His vision is to improve the economic lives of First Nations people while remaining at arm’s length from the Indian Act.

This live session is happening online on Friday, July 4, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm PST.
