Family Services seeks public consultation on Ilagiitsiarniq Strategic Plan

The Department of Family Services Family Wellness Division invites Nunavummiut to participate in Nunavut-wide community consultations and engagement sessions for the Ilagiitsiarniq Family Wellness Strategic Action Plan. This Inuit-led and Inuit-informed approach aims to break the cycle of multi-generational trauma from family disruptions.

These community engagement sessions will ensure Nunavummiut understand the programs and services provided by Family Services and help deliver culturally informed and improved services and programs throughout Nunavut.

Community collaboration is essential to ensure Family Wellness activities align with the needs of Nunavut families, children, youth, and the unique needs of each community.
