Fort Liard holds pre-registration to be ready for floods, fires – Cabin Radio

For a second year, Fort Liard is asking residents to pre-register in case of an evacuation. Residents can register at the community hall on May 12 and May 14 from 1-4pm.
“It’s good to have everything ready to go in the event of emergency evacuations,” said Evelyn Wilson, Fort Liard’s fire chief and emergency response officer.
Last year, she said more than 100 households attended the pre-registration, and Wilson was able to go to the remaining houses to help them with registering.
