Online Info Session re: Energy Efficient Housing Resources
Discover resources available to housing managers, leadership, and community staff to adopt high-performance energy codes and build resilient, energy-efficient homes rooted in cultural values.
Presented by the First Nations Energy and Mining Council (FNEMC), in partnership with ECO Canada
This session will provide an overview of ECO Canada’s Codes Acceleration Program project and explore practical tools—including building code compliance resources and guidance toolkits—designed to strengthen skills and support housing departments. We welcome community staff, leadership, housing teams, and anyone interested in learning more about these resources.
The Codes Acceleration Program for Indigenous Communities is an initiative aimed at providing training, resources, and support to Indigenous communities to help accelerate the adoption and implementation of the highest feasible energy performance building codes. This project is part of Canada’s Green Buildings Strategy, which is dedicated to decarbonizing the building sector by funding actions that support this adoption.
