More than 450 Indigenous post-secondary students will graduate across UM campuses in 2026

The University of Manitoba’s 37th Annual Traditional Graduation Pow Wow will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Hundreds of family and friends are expected to join us as we celebrate the achievements of Indigenous post-secondary students at UM in one of the largest indoor pow wows in Manitoba.

This year, 492 Indigenous students will be graduating from faculties across all UM campuses, including Arts, Law, Social Work, Nursing, Education, Engineering, Science, the Asper School of Business, Clayton H. Riddell Faculty of Environment, Earth, and Resources and the Max Rady College of Medicine. 150 of those graduates are registered to attend the Traditional Grad Pow Wow.
