Media Advisory – New Homes for Indigenous People Under Construction in Surrey

SURREY, BC, June 8, 2018 – Sukh Dhaliwal, Member of Parliament for Surrey-Newton, on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, along with Jagrup Brar, Member of the Legislative Assembly for Surrey-Fleetwood on behalf of the Honourable Selina Robinson, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, will be joined by Mayor Linda HepnerCity of Surrey, and representatives of Kekinow Native Housing Society to officially break ground on Phase 1 (73 units) of an affordable rental housing project for Indigenous low-income individuals, seniors and families in Surrey.
