MNO Participates in Cannexus: Canada’s Largest Bilingual Career Development Conference

The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) was proud to participate in Cannexus, Canada’s largest bilingual career development conference.

Cannexus brings together career development professionals, researchers, educators, and policymakers from across Canada to explore the latest research, tools, and strategies shaping the country’s workforce. The conference provides a valuable opportunity for organizations to share best practices and build partnerships that support jobseekers and learners nationwide.

While at Cannexus, MNO Employment and Training staff connected with attendees from across the country to showcase the wide range of supports available to Métis citizens. From skills development and training opportunities to employment services and workforce partnerships, the team highlighted how the MNO supports Métis people in pursuing meaningful, sustainable careers.

Participation in events like Cannexus reflects the MNO’s ongoing commitment to strengthening employment pathways and ensuring Métis citizens have access to the resources they need to succeed in today’s labour market.
