NAN: Orange Shirt Day September 30

Orange shirt day is a commemoration walk to honor the children that attended residential school and returned home and to those who did not return home from residential school. We will be gathering in Thunder Bay, Ontario at City Hall (500 Donald St. E) on September 30, 2016 at 11 am to start our walk to healing; we will walk to the old St. Joseph’s residential school site (now Pope John Paul II Catholic School (205 Franklin St. S) and have a  traditional ceremony and blessing of those who attended residential school.

Please feel free to share this poster in your respected leaders, communities and organizations. Your attendance is welcome. Refreshments and food will be provided after the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall (301 May St. S)
