Police Grants Will Help Communities Get the Services They Need

Ontario is helping communities across the province deliver public safety initiatives and services tailored to local needs by investing in police services modernization projects.
This year, 15 police services boards are receiving funding under the province’s new Policing Effectiveness and Modernization (PEM) program for projects such as:
This new grant program will support police modernization as the province transitions to a new community safety model, focussed on enhanced partnerships between police and other service providers.
Supporting safe communities is part of the government’s plan to create jobs, grow our economy and help people in their everyday lives.
