The event will take place on November 17 at 7:00 PM at the Kirkland Lake OPP Detachment, located at 26 Duncan Avenue North.
The ceremony will feature ceremonial drumming, adding a powerful element to the evening as the community comes together to honor and raise awareness of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls (MMIWG) and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people.
The ceremony is also an opportunity to honor the survivors, their families, and communities who have been affected by these tragedies across Canada.
