Province hosting open houses and survey to develop forest management plan for Kamloops area – CFJC Today Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Residents in the Thompson and Nicola region are asked to provide input to the province to help inform forest-management decisions in their area.
Officials with B.C.’s Ministry of Forests are inviting residents in the area to participate in a survey and attend one of seven open houses – one being virtual – to help develop the tmíxʷ naqscn Forest Landscape Plan.
Open houses include:
Merritt – Wednesday, May 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Civic Centre Room Two at 1950 Mamette Ave.
