RCMP investigating sudden death of Natuashish youth

The RCMP is investigating the sudden death of a youth in the community of Natuashish. On Friday, October 13, 2017, a 17-year old female was found deceased at a residence on Katshinak Street.

At this time, the cause of death is unknown. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. The RCMP is working closely with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the Band Chief and the deceased youth’s family.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information to contact the local Natuashish RCMP detachment.
