Through our commitment to reconciliation, Alberta Municipalities and the Rural Municipalities of Alberta are partnering again to host eight more virtual workshops that will explore how past government policies have defined today’s relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. The workshop will provide municipal leaders with a deeper understanding of:

This workshop is open to municipal elected officials and municipal staff.

Cost
$25 plus GST.
When can people register?
Registration will open in early January 2022, and it will be announced through our Weekly e-newsletter. Each workshop will have 30 spots. Due to previous high demand and an interest in encouraging knowledge sharing between municipalities, registration will be capped at 15 people per municipality per workshop.
