Natural resource indicators, third quarter 2025
Real gross domestic product (GDP) of the natural resources sector increased 0.9% in the third quarter, after decreasing 2.3% in the second quarter. In comparison, economy-wide real GDP increased 0.6% in the third quarter, after falling 0.5% in the second quarter.

Today, the 1991, 1996 and 2001 Canadian Census Health and Environment Cohort datasets have been released, as well as extended data years for the Canadian Vital Statistics – Death database (up to December 31, 2023), the Canadian Cancer Registry (January 1, 1992, to December 31, 2022) and the annual postal codes for mailing addresses (1981 to 2023).
