With the threat of a cross-border tariff war on hold until early March, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to convene his weekly virtual meet-up with provincial and territorial premiers to discuss the latest developments, according to his office.
He’ll also make the rounds at a reception to mark Black History Month, which will be hosted by Diversity, Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities Minister Kamal Khera, and will “feature performances and inspiring speeches, paying tribute to the contributions and outstanding achievements of Black communities across Canada,” as per the advisory.
