US Border Patrol Helicopters in the area.

The Ontario Provincial Police have contacted Chief Bell to advise that the United States Border Patrol have helicopter assets that will be flying along the International Border between Canada and the US today and into the foreseeable future.

This is not an emergency. This is proactive patrols to ensure the safety and integrity of the International Border.

The O.P.P. have requested that citizens DO NOT call to report helicopters flying in the area as it will tie up their communication lines.
