A sunrise ceremony and water walk will kick off a day focused on honouring water and protecting it for future generations
The Ten Thousand Turtles Land & Water Protectors and KiiGaDoWaak Nookimisuk are inviting the public to take part in the second-annual Nesting Trek and Water Walk for the Serpent River Watershed on Saturday, May 16.
The event, taking place in the Township of the North Shore within the Robinson-Huron Treaty Territory, will focus on honouring water and protecting it for future generations.
